Dragon Gate Kung Fu is a small, family-run martial arts school located in Auburn, Massachusetts. Our instructors describe Dragon Gate as a “living art” — one that grows with each student and helps them develop both as martial artists and as individuals.

Our Martial Arts Lineage

Students who commit to long-term training at Dragon Gate can achieve Black-level rank in two traditional Chinese martial arts:

• Dragon Gate Fist Method (Long Men Quan Shu)

• White Dragon Fist Method (Pai Lum Quan Shu)

Our system is rooted in traditional principles but remains adaptable and innovative in its approach. Dragon Gate Kung Fu combines internal and external techniques from both northern and southern China, while drawing on complementary styles to create a well-rounded system.

A Comprehensive Approach to Martial Arts

At Dragon Gate, students benefit from a broad and practical curriculum, including:

• Ground defense techniques from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

• Stick and knife skills from Kali

• Traditional animal forms and elemental concepts of Chinese martial arts

• Training with various traditional weapons

• Ground-fighting fundamentals

• Situational awareness and realistic self-defense

Correct stances and posture are key to performing techniques effectively, but beyond that, we believe martial arts should foster freedom of expression and personal growth. We encourage students to adapt techniques to fit their style and abilities.

Dragon Gate teaches a living art that both develops the practitioner as an individual and grows with the practitioner. Solid in foundation but free in form, Dragon Gate is rooted in ancient principles of maximum effect with minimal effort.
